Rodale Institute’s Study on No-Till Farming

Have you ever considered not tilling your field or garden plot? I for one would not miss all the work that can be saved, by not having to gas up the rototiller and stand behind it while walking down the rows. Going over a plot of land more than once to break up all the hard clotted soil and till under the grass or weeds. What alternative is there than this traditional method of weeding and getting soil ready to plant? Well, read on in the below article from Rodale Institute in Pennsylvania. They are now practicing a new method of producing food called ‘regenerative agriculture’. It is sustainable, non-polluting and does not rely on pesticides and herbicides to produce yield. It goes along with organic practices which enhance soil condition, biodiversity and ecosystem health, along with crop health.
